The Divine Liturgy according to the West-Syriac rîte is used by the Malankara Orthodox, the Malankara Catholic, the Syriac Catholic, Syriac Orthodox, the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, and a number of other smaller Christian Churches around the world. There are a number of translations into vernacular languages, but this version is by far the most refined translation to date. The entire liturgy is sung and / or chanted, and the language and songs in this version are specific to it; having been taken from the usage of the church in India. Translated and arranged by His Excellency, Hadrian Mar Elijah Bar Israel, the Nazarani Metropolitan.
